Introduction to Email and SMS Exchange
In Taino, agents can manage communication with customers via integrated email and SMS services. This feature allows agents to send and receive messages directly from the platform, centralizing all interactions within the system. This guide covers how to access and use the email and SMS inboxes, as well as how to handle incoming and outgoing communications.
Step 1: Accessing the Messaging Section
To start, go to the Customer Details page. At the top of the navigation bar, you’ll see the Messaging button. Click it to view two inboxes: one for email and one for SMS. From these inboxes, you can compose and send new messages to the customer or view incoming messages.

Step 2: Sending and Receiving Emails and SMS
From the Messaging section, agents can compose new emails or SMS messages to customers. Replies from customers will appear in the appropriate inbox. Incoming messages trigger real-time notifications at the top of the page, ensuring agents are promptly alerted to new communications.


Step 3: Messaging from the Sales Board
Messaging is also available on the Sales Board. When managing a prospect, agents can compose and send emails or SMS messages. This feature supports communication throughout the sales process, keeping everything within the CRM for easy access and tracking.
Step 4: Notifications for Incoming Messages
When a customer replies, the system sends a real-time notification to agents associated with the customer. These notifications appear on the top navigation bar, ensuring that no incoming messages are missed.
