Introduction to RingCentral Integration

Taino Solutions allows agents to integrate their RingCentral account to streamline communication. Once connected, all phone calls and SMS exchanges through RingCentral are synced with the platform and linked to the appropriate customer records. This guide will explain how to set up and use the RingCentral integration.

Step 1: Setting Up RingCentral Integration

To begin the integration, navigate to your Profile page. Click on your agent name in the top-right corner of the navigation bar and select My Profile from the dropdown menu. Once in your profile, go to the Configurations section. Here, you will find two options related to RingCentral.

The first option is RingCentral Integration. Check this box to connect your RingCentral account and phone number to the platform. Once connected, all your phone calls and SMS communications through RingCentral will automatically sync to Taino Solutions and associate with the corresponding customer records. This ensures that all communication is centralized in one place.

Step 2: Accessing Call and SMS Logs

After the integration is enabled, all RingCentral communication logs can be accessed from the Customer page. Navigate to the customer’s details page, click on the top navigation action button Activity, and select RingCentral Logs from the submenu. Here, you will see a complete history of incoming and outgoing calls and texts, providing a comprehensive record of interactions with the customer.

Step 3: Enabling RingCentral Embedded

The second option in the Configurations section of your profile is RingCentral Embedded. Checking this option will display a pop-up widget at the bottom-right corner of the platform's screen, allowing quick access to the RingCentral app. From this widget, you can make calls, send and receive texts, and manage communications without leaving the platform.

An important feature of the embedded widget is that it will identify incoming calls from existing customers. When a customer calls, their name will be displayed, and the platform will automatically direct the agent to the customer’s details page. This allows agents to quickly view customer notes, policies, and other details during the call, improving efficiency and saving time.
